So much for a lazy Saturday

Today the weather was supposed to be bad and this morning it looked as it that was going to be true. It's 3 in the afternoon and other than then wind having picked up it's a bright sunny day outside.

This morning I had my second entrelac class. This one had 3 people in it and all 3 were pretty self sufficient so I feel like they were getting it and got a lot done. I really like this cape like shawl that I finished. Speaking of it, I finally got some somewhat decent pictures of it. I think the back picture shows the detail of the shawl the best. so I'm listing it first.
Dave had to go and get a new tire put on his work truck but I think when he gets back we might take Little G over to the park to play. Tomorrow is again supposed to be bad weather and he didn't get to to go the park last weekend either. So I figure while the weather is still holding out let him get out and have some fun. He was even helping me take photos.
And has I finish this up the shuttle just re-entered the atmosphere and rattled my windows. I've lived here for almost 10 years now and even when you know it's scheduled to be landing, the sonic booms STILL catch you by surprise.

That shawl turned out lovely. I wish I was closer and could take your class. I can do simple crocheting, as long as I don't have to make sure it comes out just so, but that's all.

I think G needs a cape now :) A super hero one! That photo with him is too cute.

I've thought about knitting him one like that. I think it would be cute.
